Summary:
Performs a variety of skilled maintenance work in the maintenance and repair of the Company's facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following (though other duties may be assigned as applicable):
Must have knowledge and/or experience of:
The repair, replacement, re-keying, and/or copying of keys for door locks and padlocks at all Company facilities.
Repair (spackling/mudding and sanding) and painting of walls.
Installing and repairing suspended ceilings.
Installing all types of wall coverings, including FRP, acrovyn, and other materials.
Repairing concrete pads, including crack filling.
Repairing asphalt potholes (using cold patch) in facility's parking lot.
Measuring offices/areas and laying out furniture, equipment, etc.
Installing, disassembling, and/or repairing office furniture, shelving, and chairs.
Installing and/or repairing all door types, including necessary door hardware (handles, hinges, enclosures, etc.
).
Installing and/or repairing floor and wall ceramic tile, carpeting, and vinyl tile floors, including cove base, thresholds, etc.
Performing skilled hand and bench work in a maintenance shop to include power saws, sanders, drills, drill press, concrete cutter, and other related equipment.
Interpreting equipment directions, blue prints, diagrams, and sketches.
Renovating offices, restrooms, etc.
in Company facilities that may include installing walls, ceiling, and flooring.
Maintain all department equipment and materials per OSHA and EPA regulations with a priority on reporting and providing to supervisor SDS for all new materials used as required to meet those regulations.
