Part-Time Customer Service Representative

Position Summary
The position involves interactions with customers in the office and over the telephone to resolve inquires that are related to Telephone and Cable Television industry.
Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer issues over the telephone or in the office, including billing inquiries, sales opportunities and cable/video product troubleshooting. Office interactions may involve payment processing and requires exceptional cash handling skills.

  • Respond to customer correspondence in appropriate manner.

  • Accurately enter order information, including updating of customer account

  • Promote sales by explaining available services.

  • Use provided training materials and job tools to quickly and accurately resolve customer issues.

  • Other functions that may be assigned.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

  • Keyboarding and computer skills are required; proficiency navigating between multiple windows is necessary

  • At least 6 months to 1 year of employment is desired with experience in call center, sales, office, and/or customer service is helpful

  • Good written and verbal communication skills required

  • Strong people skills; friendly, listens well, articulate, self-assured, and professional

  • Patient, empathetic, team oriented, adaptable, coachable, dependable, motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity

  • Must have the ability to work flexible schedule.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
